| Product Care And Advice
All our furniture has a 3 year structural warranty ( if purchased ) which reaffirms our committiment to the quality of contruction and finish of all our furniture.
The finish howver is subject to many more external factors and we have detailed some tips and advice below to help in maintaing your furniture to the same standard as when puchased.
If cared for correctly, your furniture should last a lifetime.
Wood Furniture A dry cloth and / or regular houshold furniture polish will maintain the finish admirably, but you may wish to use an antique restorers wax, such as Fiddes Jacobean wax occasionally ( 3-6 months or more) to burnish any minor surface scratching and maintain the piece as new.
Black, Red or Hand Painted Furniture A dry cloth and / or regular houshold furniture polish will maintain the finish admirably, but you may wish to use a black car polish occasionally ( one a year or less ) to burnish any minor surface scratching and maintain the piece as new.
Where possible avoid placing your piece(s) too close to radiators, fireplaces or in direct sunlight. Any direct exposure to sustained heat may cause excessive damage or cracking. Try and use coasters or placemats where possible, as the constant application of water will eventually result in damage to the finish. Woven and Conservatory Furniture Woven coverings ar made from a natural materials and whilst very tough, they may be damaged by impact or scuffing.
- Caramel water hyacinth should remain in an as new condition with proper care, however impacts and scuffs can be easily touched up or repaired with the application of Liberon Button Polish. This is the same material as the factory finish which is perfect for touching up any areas that have been damaged or have frayed parts.
- Natural Water Hyacinth & Rattan Please use a clear varnish for the above
