Chinoiserie Black Lacquer Hand Painted Wedding Cabinet 

Wedding cabinets like these were traditionally given as a dowry gifts to newly weds providing the main storage for all their worldy possessions.

Our cabinet comes with a bold round lock cover, hardware providing an elegant and simple decoration. Hand painted with gold lattice work edging and hand painted butterflies, a symbol of beauty and elegance in Chinese art.

It has two removable shelves and a clothes hanger internally and two drawers below. Ideal for use as a wardrobe, a drinks cabinet or as a decorative cabinet with plenty of storage for use in the main living area.

Traditionally hand crafted, made from solid wood and with a black lacquered glossy polished finish.

The decorative locks, hinges and hardware are made from solid brass and tinted a charcoal grey.

This item may also be made in 2 parts for access to smaller spaces. There will however be a £100 additional cost to the retail price.
